On 3/June 2015, I presented the outcomes from the first Gen.AV hackathon as a set of demos at New Interfaces for Musical Expression (NIME) conference, which took place this year in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA (https://nime2015.lsu.edu). NIME is one of the major scientific conferences on the development of new technologies for music. I had a desk with 2 computers and a tablet running the different projects, a video and a slideshow on the process and projects.
As part of the demo submission, I also wrote a 3-page paper presenting the process, projects and a preliminary evaluation. The paper can be downloaded from: https://nime2015.lsu.edu/proceedings/230/index.html The evaluation of the projects presented at the paper is preliminary, taking into account previous literature on the topic. A deeper evaluation, based on audience and peer-review, will be presented in a future paper.
